I have read that 5.4 million in research funds for six projects on cancer, neurological diseases, heart disease, gastrointestinal conditions and nanotechnology. I really think we should consider funding research on regeneration hair cells in the inner ear for hearing. 30 million people in the US alone suffer from different types of hearing loss. As we age no matter what we do we lose our hair cells cause us to lose our hearing. This effects every single person in the world. I really think this is something we should start really focusing one. On a toll hearing loss in population is way higher than any other disease. Don't get me wrong I appreciate the funding that is being provided.
