Embryo Project posting research info
Using a $750,000 grant from the National Science Foundation, an international team is operating The Embryo Project, which is posting information on stem cell research for scholars and the public alike. The online site will include a large amount of historical information on research for scientists engaged in the field. "It's really pathetic that the public is asked to vote on things like stem-cell initiatives with so little understanding of what they're talking about," said Jane Maienschein, director of Arizona State University's Center for Biology and Society.
