DelBello draws added scrutiny for undisclosed funds
University of Cincinnati researcher Melissa DelBello is getting some added scrutiny after finding herself in Senator Charles Grassley's crosshairs. Grassley (R-IA) chastised the researcher for failing to disclose large sums of money she received from AstraZeneca a year after completing a study of Seroquel for bipolar disease. Grassley also criticized AstraZeneca's undisclosed financial ties to a company DelBello formed. DelBello will now be required to review all the money she has received from AstraZeneca in the last decade and will review all her financial ties to outside companies.
